Very excited to have these pics land in my inbox today! This was the first ever full design plan wedding (back in 2018, that seems along time ago now) that I worked on, think sophisticated New York roof top in the Shires! Clean lines, minimalism, zinc tables, marble, copper, white and greenery set amongst @fmtents light and an airy yurt. .

I worked with @claireclarkeweddings and the couple from the beginning of the design process, producing design boards and helping guide them visually. When you become so heavily invested in a wedding seeing it bought to life brings the biggest buzz! I love my job!!!

Sometimes something just happens and it takes your breath away! This was one such moment with @flowers_at_fifty_eight we had loosely talked about what we wanted to happen but it was very much a case of build and improvise on the day. .

If your looking for a styled wedding I would definitely recommend finding suppliers that have previously worked together and that naturally click. Bigger installation pieces often require and element of improvisation and working on the spot and if your suppliers are all working to the same mantra then the process runs a hell of a lot smoothly!

Today I met @greensoulweddings for cake and we got discussing being ethical and environmentally friendly, pretty on topic as Trump has called green campaigners ‘prophets of doom’ 🤦‍♀️ today. So Hannah and I today got into the deepest darkest depths of what it means to us to be ‘green’. Personally I am not sure turning vegan and flying over millions of avocados is the way forward. To me it’s about looking locally, supporting local businesses, buying local produce and reusing. We can be more ethically aware in so many ways and it’s such a minefield for businesses full of so many opinions. -

Where’s your happy place? Mine is out in the countryside, in the fresh air. My perfect day would be finding the ideal picnic spot surrounded by trees where you feel like your the only people on earth! Where you you can really breath and the only noise is from the birds.

The countryside and its survival has always been so important to me, despite now living in a new build I spent years campaigning as a child to save the countryside around where I lived. So when I sent the email to @forest_centre today letting them know I would be donating 9 trees to their 2020 tree planting a huge smile was on my face! I think the younger campaigner in me would be proud! .
With every ‘ A helping hand’ styling package booked that meets the minimum hire spend requirement I will donate a tree to The Forest of Marston Vale in the hope that one day I will be able to say we have planted a woods! So that Little D will be able to enjoy unspoilt picnics in the fresh air.

Team TWE we’re on hand to fully style the barn and marque and make sure everything was as the couple had visioned, as well as hiring brass vessels, signage, chalkboards, festoon lights and a DIY bar station. The next day we returned and took it all away. Less stress on your wedding day and the day after! .

2019 may forever be known as the year of the brass candle stick. After buying every brass candle stick in the Bedfordshire area I have a very substantial collection so when 100 left TWE HQ back in October it made all those months scouring junk and charity shops worthwhile. .
