A chic, elegant affair styling this Parisian inspired shoot at Moggerhanger Park

Remember when we used to head to magazines for our wedding inspo? There is still something very satisfying about seeing your work in physical print. I love a magazine, I wish I had more time to find a quiet spot to get lost in their pages.

This is another throwback, this time to 2016 and a shoot I will always credit to introducing me to one of my wedding pals I could not face this crazy industry without – Becky of Love From Becky.

On a cold and misty day a group of local Bedfordshire wedding suppliers headed to Moggerhanger Park to curate an elegant, romantic shoot. Inspired by the peachy tones of Moggerhanger and with elements of Parisian sophistication.

I styled a chic ceremony setup , complete with hand painted banner backdrop and as with all my setups surrounded by candle light. The banner featured a romantic verse and was a beast to hand paint, its amazing to see the journey my calligraphy has been on from these early days. To see more recent examples of my calligraphy head to the Signage section of my website.

The tablescape was a romantic sweetheart table for two. With calligraphy chair swag. Rose gold sequin table runner, brass candle sticks and vintage china plates.

The cake was bold and eye – catching and accompanied by macaroons and cake pops.

The whole look was effortless, with the models styled with tossled hair and soft make-up. Their dresses were elegant and simple and perfectly suited the refined setting of Moggerhanger. Each model wore a mix of striking head pieces that perfectly paired with the dresses.
