Where has that time gone? So I’m going to take some time off and not focus solely on her for the weekend. If I’m honest this week has been exhausting and yesterday’s budget relief soon turned sour when you realise that being ‘included’ isn’t actually financially that great (I hope they prove me wrong) and that the money if it comes won’t be landing probably until May, 2 whole months away and a whole new tax year (sneaky fuckers!) Fried Brain - ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Today has been the most I have used my brain for a long time and it feels good! Though I am so exhausted! It reminds me of the feeling when you get back from a wedding setup, when you can't stop smiling because you have worked so hard and you are so mentally energised from the excitement of the day but so exhausted from the non stop adrenaline of working to a deadline. God I love this feeling! My afternoon and evening was spent talking with lots of my couples and although Boris provided good news for some it wasn't for everyone and my heart goes out to all those who have had to postpone again. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀But I am excited more than anything, excited that hugging friends could soon be a reality, that being able to gather and meet people again will be part of our everyday. The Whole Look -⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀This gorgeous wedding took place in a private garden and was a real team effort. Planned by @claireclarkeweddings inside a @fmtents yurt. The vibe was cool, New York Roof Top, With considered minimalism and straight lines. Zinc top tables and ghost chairs with a refined hanging greenery cube installed by my TWE team. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀There is a bit of a story with this setup. Originally the greenery was meant to be installed on the day before the wedding but it was the hottest weekend of 2018 with temperatures soaring way over 30 degrees. We took the time risk and decided to install the morning of the wedding instead and I am so pleased we did, the greenery stayed fresh and not a wilted leaf in sight. The setup time was stretched to it's limits but neither the couple or the guests were any the wiser. Doughnuts!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀I know today is pancake day but I didn't have any pictures of pancakes so, here's a lot of doughnuts instead! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Another slightly interesting fact about myself, but I never used to like doughnuts. If it didn't have jam in the middle and wasn't covered in sugar then I wasn't interested. My tastes have now matured (if I can call it that) and I do now love a doughnut covered in icing and with any filling. We have never been out for dinner on Valentines Day but I would love that little slice of escapism right now. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀So why not create your own beautiful tablescape for 2. Add candle light for some romance, get layering plates, napkins and why not write your own menus. Those glasses that you have been saving for a special occasion, now id the time to get out.
